REMARK. — Resident in the Sahel zone north of Burkina Faso (Borrow & Demey 2014), but according Portier et al. (2002) “ can be found ” in the Oursi-Darkoye Lakes, Sahel Partial Reserve; moreover an observations of three individuls near a lake 5 km north of Bollé, Sanmatenga Province, 12. III. 2015, is reported in WABD with a detailed description. The status of this species in Burkina Faso needs further assessment.
