Endemic; bamboo forest specialist; Near Threatened. Recently described species for which few natural history data are available (Zimmer et al. 2013, Melo et al. 2015). One was recorded in a bamboo patch at HFR on 19 November 2018, by R. Plácido (WA 2376966) (Fig. 3 C). The record extends the species’ known range 95 km north of the nearest previously known locality, on the Transacreana highway in Acre (Melo et al. 2015).
